Comsave Core Serie - Introduction

Posted on Thursday, March 29, 2018

In this series, we're shining our light on how Comsave deals with IPv6, BGP, PPPoe and we're also covering MPLS-connections. As an introduction, we're having a look at the Comsave network design and explain it in full.

Under this text you will find the most recent Comsave Core network design. Expect for NL|DC (Eindhoven), Interxion (Brussels) and our PoP (Point of Presence) in Paris, the main part of the network lies in Amsterdam. Three datacenters - NL|DC, Global Switch and Digital Realty run our Core. These datacenters are being connected redundantly by the means of dark fibers. Via the Equinix AM4 Comsave receives direct access to the other seven Equinix datacenters in Amsterdam. On the right of the design you will find an overview of our carriers. All large business internet carriers in the Netherlands and Belgium are connected at this point to the Comsave network. We will also soon extend our footprint in France and we will add French carriers.
