KPN introduces WBA V Plus

The latest KPN-product is able to achieve 200 Mbit/s download speed and 30Mbit/s upload speed over a single copper. By releasing this product, KPN again introduces higher speeds on the copper network. V Plus means ‘super vectoring’ and so this includes V Plus Access. Thanks to this latest technique, the possibility to achieve speeds like these (200MBit / 30Mbit) on a single copper line has arrived.

 

V Plus is going to be effective for customers within a distance of 400 meters till the connectivity box. Therefore this product will be only available for addresses up to this distance. When the distance is longer, the ADSL2+ and B/V/DSL will stay most effective in the current WBA. The V Plus technology is only going to work in combination with modems which support a chipset. At the beginning it will only be available on a best effort base EVC 200/30 (8419 wide open and a premium EVC (256/256Kbit/s).
